The SYNC 2020 Virtual Conference will take place September 8 – 11 with the original content and speakers as well as some enhancements. The virtual platform will be easy to navigate and will have many features to enhance your virtual experience, including connecting with other attendees, chatting with exhibitors, games, polls and live Q & A with speakers.

The SYNC 2020 December dates are cancelled, and the virtual conference will replace the in-person event. We look forward to coming together in person in 2021! In the meantime, we are excited to offer you the next best alternative that provides the important content, knowledge sharing, connections, inspiration and the many aspects of SYNC that make it such a dynamic meeting.

If you are currently registered for SYNC 2020 your registration will automatically transfer to the virtual conference and if you have paid, a refund for the difference in registration fee will be processed.

If you booked a room at the Grand Hyatt Washington, DC for the original dates in May, your reservation was automatically canceled by the hotel. If you booked a room for the December dates, you would need to cancel that reservation.

No. The virtual conference platform is web browser based and mobile device friendly. All you will need is a device (desktop, laptop, tablet or phone) and an internet connection.

The SYNC 2020 Virtual Conference will be accessible online, on all types of devices, via a provided link through the website and the mobile conference app.

Yes. There will be a virtual exhibit hall where attendees can visit individual booths and view their content (handouts, videos, resources, etc.), connect with company representatives via chat messaging to ask questions and obtain more information and download items for future reference. The agenda will include specific exhibit times to allow for ample opportunities for exhibitors and attendees to connect.

Yes. There will be a virtual poster hall where attendees can visit individual posters, view the content and connect with authors via chat messaging to ask questions and obtain more information. The agenda will include dedicated time for viewing posters and connecting with authors.

Yes. There will be many opportunities for attendees to connect, chat and network during SYNC 2020. The virtual conference platform will have a networking lounge where attendees can gather to hold one-on-one or small group chats to discuss a particular topic/interest or just catch up and check in with colleagues. Attendees will also have the ability to connect with speakers and poster authors, and ask questions about presentation content, etc. There will be several breaks throughout the conference specifically for networking and connecting with each other.
