Media outlets interested in receive access to all sessions (including pre-conference sessions and post conference on-demand access and follow-up materials), the virtual exhibit and poster halls, and the networking lounge.
Professional and student journalists and media-related educators working with credentialed media outlets and academic institutions are invited to cover SYNC 2020. Members of the media who have a track-record of reporting on the fields of HIV, HCV, STI and/or LGBTQ health are especially welcome.
The SYNC 2020 Virtual Conference will cover the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on HIV, HCV, STI and LGBTQ health, aging and HIV, and ending the HIV epidemic and the tracks include telehealth, women’s health, transgender health, substance use, clinical health, innovative practices and MSM health. SYNC 2020 intends to connect and virtually sync more than 2,000 public health professionals, including but not limited to HIV specialists, primary care providers, federal agency representation, virologists, advocates, state and local health department staff, clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, etc.
Registration includes full access to 60+ sessions, as well as the virtual poster and exhibits halls and networking lounge, which can connect you with thousands of participants. Conference staff can facilitate interviews with corporate, private and federal representatives and other speakers.
SYNC 2020 Virtual Conference media scholarship recipients must write and share with conference articles a published/publishable article after the conference summarizing the content and highlights of the presentations, exhibits, posters and networking.
